a sence of truimph... but also sadness

whenever i finish a good book i am always conflicted. on one hand i feel the joy and excitement of the great story brought to its climax. on the other hand, there is the depressing thought that once i turn those last few pages... its over. my journey with these characters is done, and i feel a sense of loss.

i love a good book, but its so depressing when its over lol

  1. I thought I was alone in feeling like that.

  2. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. Last night I stayed up and finished a book I bought a couple days ago. It was a horror book called The Pilo Family Circus by Will Elliott and I absolutely loved it. It was addicting and I couldn't put it down, but I also didn't want to finish it because it would be all over.... but I just had to. So now I'm regretting it. I might just have to find more books by that particular author.

  3. I thought I was alone too. I Love a good book and I hate it when it's over (not really). I've realized that when I'm getting close to the end, like a chapter or 3 away, I'll lose the book and not read so I wouldn't have to finish it. Then like a month later I'll go back and read it. Lol, it's a sad condition I have.
