huzzah!
well i found a workaround for my elderscroll problem. now i dont have to remove any of my beloved mods, teehee.
i sold the elderscroll to the orc guy at the college of winterhold, and then bought it back from him. it costs 3000 gold but at least it counts as being in my possession now. i can continue the vampire questline, woohoo.
i went and did the main storyline too just to see if i had any issues there and the elder scroll worked just fine at the throat of the world, so it was just a dawnguard problem. im glad i dont have to abandon this character i like her.
maybe if i collect al the barenziah stones ill get vex's dialog but i wont hold my breath. i can seriously live without that quest.
