medieval dynasty. already addicted

 its just so gorgeous. im blown away by the environment. and the gameplay is pretty good, altho i could use some tweaking. the game is still technically in alpha. but omg its so good already. ive been playing for 2 days now.

i built myself a little shack by the river. there is a stream right next to my house and i have a vast forest at my back.

my house isnt much, but it keeps the snow off me. 

room for a family!

winter came very quickly. i was afraid i wouldnt survive, as i am still learning things and trying to figure out gameplay.

luckily, i got pretty good at hunting with a spear. that, plus the enormous amount of berries i collected in summer, kept me from starvation.

they never go down in one toss. i usually have to get about 3 spears into a deer before they fall

i am approaching my second winter already now. time goes WAY too fast. each season is only 3 days. i hope they fix that and the controls are a but weird. i have to use the gamepad and the keyboard at the same time and its a little annoying. but i will still recommend this game to anyone who likes survival games, or open world games. there are a few quests, and several npc villages you can visit. but for the most part, you have the run of the land and can do whatever you like. but you only get one life. so dont die. 

perhaps by next winter ill have finally gotten myself a wife! you also age in this game, so you need ot marry and breed so your child can take over for you when you croak. its gonna be great!
