people got weird priorities.

i just read on twitter that over a billion dollars was raised to fix the recently devastated notre dame cathedral. and thats great,  the cathedral is a jewel of human creation and a historic icon and just a fucking beautiful example of architecture that deserve to be preserved.

its beautiful when people come together to fix a wrong. but why is it, that there is still no money for people in Puerto Rico? or Flint Michigan? why do people care more about an inanimate building than REAL LIVE human beings that are STILL suffering? i just dont understand this logic at all.
