what would YOU do?
5 scruples questions. i love these ^_^
1. You and your ex (who you hate) are in a car, driving to a lawyer to discuss separation terms. The road is icy and he/she loses control and hits a tree. You get out of the car ok, but your ex is unconscious and still behind the wheel. The car is on fire. Do you try to pull him/her free of the car? or just sit and wait for the authorities to show up?
2. You are on your way home from work, minding your own business when you suddenly hear a thump under the car. You realize you just hit an animal. You are a block from your house, and you KNOW your daughter likes to let her dog run around outside. Do you stop and see if you might have run over your daughter's dog? Or keep going and just hope it was a raccoon?
3. You and your best friend both like the same guy. The guy confesses to you that he really likes you, and he is only using your best friend.
what do you do? Date him anyway, knowing how it will hurt your friend? TELL your friend that hes using her, hurting her? Date him in secret hoping she will never find out? Or tell him to go to hell? HONESTY HERE.
4. You are caring for an old woman. She is a nasty mean old woman, and you complain to everyone CONSTANTLY.. Everyone in town knows what a viscous mean old witch she is, and how much you hate her. One day, you show up at her house and find her murdered.
Do you call the cops? Or flee, thinking they will think you murdered her?
5. You are looking around in your basement for somthing, and you come across a rat trap.. with a rat still in it.
The rat is alive, but clearly broken. Its screaming and writing in pain. Do you put it out of its misery? Leave it to die?
Or call a vet?
im looking forward to seeing some interesting answers :)

1) I would pull him out of the car. I'd be super guilty otherwise.
ReplyDelete2)I'd stop. I love animals too much. If it was a dog I'd be a little careful though, they're my only phobia and if it started moving I'd start running...
3)Tell him to hell. People generally don't change and I couldn't be with someone that had used people in the past.
4)Call the cops. Running makes you look more guilty doesn't it?
5) I would probably call a vet after I've moved it away from my cat...
1) pull ex from car
ReplyDelete2)Id stop
3)Id start worrying about my sexual orientation If I liked a guy aand would be more concerned with coming out (rofl) but if it was a girl I just wouldnt date her and tell her to go to hell
4)Call the cops, fleeing will only make it worse in the long run
5)Get someone else to put it out of its misery(and if there isnt anyone then call a vet to come do it)
lol i had originaly posted everything as him/her but it just started looking silly so i left the question as him. :p
ReplyDelete1) Pull him from the car. No matter what I feel for someone, I wouldn't wish that sort of ill will on them (well, not in this case anyway, lol). Nah, I couldn't leave the bastard to burn...
ReplyDelete2) Stop and get out. It would be tough, but not knowing for sure would be worse for me. If it was some other pet, I'd want to take it to the vet. If it was my daughter's dog, well...guess she'll use a leash next time!
(kidding...bad joke. i'd be crushed)
3) That exact scenario happened to me in college, no joke. I honestly wanted to...'date'...him SOOOOO BAAAD, just once...and he REALLY liked me, but I couldn't. I really couldn't. I gently tried to persuade her to look for greener pastures (I played up the fact that he was a playa) and eventually she did. We all remained friends with the guy (we had been for a while), and to this day I've never told her that he was trying to hit with me. It's pointless now, all these years later, and she would NOT have taken it well. Not in the state she was in back then... :( I couldn't trust a man like that as far as I could throw him, so it wouldn't do me any good to sneak around with him. I'd have to tell him to go to hell.
4) Call the cops, definitely. I'd just have to take my chances -- if you run they're definitely going to suspect your butt.
5) Put the doggone thing out of it's misery, ugh. I watched my grandmother do that once. I'm not paying a vet bill for a rat...I love animals and all, but no. Go meet the original Mickey in mousie Heaven...
1. honestly, i think id leave him. all the shit my ex put me thru, i really dont know if id want to drag him out, or if i even could. (hes a BIG man) but id hope the rescue people got there in time at least to put out the fire.
ReplyDelete2. i think id stop anyway. id feel horrible hitting ANY animal. if it WAS my daughters dog, i just dunno what id do tho. i dont know if i could tell her.
3.this kinda scenario has happend to me as well. no matter how much you like a guy its NOT worth fkin up a friendship. learned the hard way. especialy if hes a peice of shit.
if i had it to do all over again tho, hopefully id tell him to go to hell next time
4. id call the cops. yeah id be a suspect, but there would be no actual evidence to implicate me. cause i didnt do it.
5. id put it out of its misery. i have had to do this and its very heartbreaking. but honestly, id rather crush its skull than let it sit there suffering. im NOT calling a vet for any non-pet animal.
1: I pull them from the car. No matter how much I hate them sitting there and doing nothing is the same as sliting their throat myself,
ReplyDeletePlus I get the added bonus of being the hero in the whole deal hehe
2: Stop and see if it's a pet, regardless of whether my daughter had a dog or not. I can't stand assholes who hit peoples pets and then don't have the decency to move them off the road
Especially when children are involved, they need some closure by seeing the body, and its not nice when its been run over 10 times because no one moved it out of incoming traffic
3: Tell him if he wants me he has to break up with her and tell her the truth at the same time. If my friend is a friend at all she will allow me to date him if I so choose to after wards.
Though in this situation I'd prob fuck him and that's it.....a man like that isn't really boyfriend material anyways
4: Call the cops, sure they might investigate me but I'm confident that I would be cleared. Running away would just show some guilt they could use against me, especially if it's known that I would have been looking after her that day
5: I never use inhumane traps, though I don't do the catch and release shit either....it's a rat, filthy diseased vermin. If I did find one in a trap however, I would leave it to die....WTF am I meant to kill it with? A hammer? and get rat brain on me? no thanks lol
1) I'd leave him and hope and pray that the emergency services got there in time to save him. A) If I hate him, then he's not worth risking my own life for. B) Pulling him out could do more harm than good.
ReplyDelete2) Stop and hope it's a racoon.
3) Tell my friend he's using her and tell him to take a long walk off a short pier.
4) Call the cops.
5) Leave it. Nothing I could do would make it any better if the rat is broken.
